Each day 30,000 passengers use Tilburg Station. In 2020 40,000 passengers are expected. To improve the accessibility and flow a new 42 meter wide passage is being built. This includes space for shops and facilities. The passage consists of two areas: one section is public land that acts as a link between north and south, the other section provides access to the platforms as do the elevators and escalators.  

This company report provides a brief impression of the extensive work which has been done during the period 18 till 26 October ​​to push the passage with srew jacks from the construction site to its final destination.
