SENS "Station Eindhoven New Station passage"

Eindhoven Station is being reconstructed. During the work the station will remain in use. In addition to the current tunnel which is 8 meters wide, a new tunnel 35 meters wide will be built. This includes space for shops and facilities. It will be an important pedestrian connection between the North and South sections of the city. The alteration was started in the first quarter of 2013 and the work will be completed in the summer of 2016. In 2020 a daily average of 115,000 passengers is expected.
